Chesaning Union Schools - Home of the Indians

Chesaning Union Schools is excited to welcome School Resource Officer, Deputy Sheriff Matthew Henry. Deputy Henry is Chesaning Union Schools second resource officer, joining current SRO John Butcher.  This position is supported by 2023 grant funds awarded by the state of Michigan and administered by the Michigan State Police. The grant will fund Deputy Henry’s position for 3 years. Chesaning Schools resource officers work in our buildings full time and are instrumental in planning for and maintaining student and staff safety.
