Starting A New PBIS Tradition - TRIBE Tickets!
Students who are caught by a staff member displaying TRIBE standards will get a ticket entered into a weekly drawing. Two students will receive a free Friday popcorn, and 2 students will receive a free Friday Riverfront Grill lunch. Our very first winners were drawn on Friday, October 4th, and are Kaydence Haney, Lydia Tithof, Reese Rugenstein, and Ella Richmond. Thank you to these students for being a positive example of our TRIBE standards!
Homecoming Week 2024 was filled with smiles, laughter, class competitions, and a lot of school spirit! Thank you to everyone who made this week so memorable for all of our students.
For this year’s homecoming game, the seniors on the football team gave recognition to staff members by asking a teacher/staff member to wear their jersey to school on Friday. Such a heart-felt honor!

This was a fun community project for our students. We participated in the “Paint a Plow” project with the Saginaw County Road Commission. Our students decided to honor our local Veterans in conjunction with our Military Classic festivities!

This message is to inform you that buses are running approximately 40 minutes late this afternoon.
This is reminder that on tomorrow's election ballot is a Chesaning Union Schools Bond Proposal that, if approved, would result in no millage increase and, in fact, the mill rate would decrease from 5.24 mills to 4.5 mills with the discontinuation of the sinking fund. The proposal is designed to improve the air and water quality of the district's buildings, make needed pool improvements (last major pool improvements were implemented 17 years ago), enhance district safety, and improve district building and site infrastructure. Thank you and please vote on August 6th.
This is a reminder that Thursday, June 6 is a half day of school. Dismissal times are as follows: Big Rock - 12:06; Middle School - 11:50; and High School - 11:45. Classes resume August 22.

Due to a winter weather advisory projecting that a winter storm will impact the morning commute and significantly impact the afternoon commute, Chesaning Union Schools will be closed on Friday, March 22. Daycare and Latchkey will also be closed.

Big Rock has been affected but with its generator system has lights, heat, and water and will be able to operate as normal. We have been informed that the power should be restored by 1:15.
